SESCA, in partnership with SE ADASS, is leading the 2024/25 International Recruitment Project in the Southeast. Backed by £2.76 million from the Department of Health and Social Care, part of the project aims to assist displaced migrant care workers who have been impacted by the revocation of their employer’s sponsorship licence.
We’ve already undertaken preliminary assessments for 40 displaced workers with impressive qualifications, and are now inviting care providers to express their interest in sponsoring them. Employers will follow their usual recruitment process, supported by our regional team, and there will be an expedited Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) allocation process, through collaboration with local authorities.
Financial support is also available for employers who sponsor these workers, with further details on grants to be announced soon.
If you are interested in supporting displaced workers, please express your interest by completing our form here.
