Further Resources

Surrey Care Association has created an excellent online resource — Careers in Care — to help adult social care providers attract new talent into the sector.

The site features:

  • Short, inspiring videos featuring real care workers sharing their career journeys
  • Clear information on typical job roles across care, admin, domestic, and support teams
  • Details on training, progression, and salaries
  • Guidance on starting a career in care — including for those with no previous experience

These resources are free to use and ideal for:

  • Linking from your careers or job vacancies page
  • Sharing on social media to raise awareness
  • Including in recruitment campaigns, newsletters or job fairs

In this video: Care professionals working in supported living services share what they do, how they got started, and why care is such a fulfilling and flexible career option.

This is just one of many inspiring videos available on the Surrey Care Association’s Careers in Care resource.
