The Home Office Reintegration Programme operates in twelve countries:
- Albania
- Bangladesh
- China
- Ethiopia
- Ghana
- India
- Iraq
- Jamaica
- Nigeria
- Pakistan
- Vietnam
- Zimbabwe
People eligible for VRS support are likely to be:
- Immigration offenders (over-stayers, illegal entrants and others who have no legal status to be in the UK)
- Open application and appeals (people wishing to withdraw their open application and leave the UK)
- Asylum seekers (people who have made an asylum claim and are awaiting a decision, or it has been refused)
- Victims of modern slavery (people who have made a claim as a victim of modern slavery and are awaiting a decision or have been refused)
- EEA nationals (EEA Nationals who do not hold, and are not seeking Settled Status or leave to remain in the UK)
