The Government has confirmed that international students will be prevented from bringing dependants to the UK, unless they are on postgraduate courses.
Switching restrictions have also been tightened in this round of changes with international students being prevented from switching into work routes before their studies have been completed.
The changes will come into effect for those starting their courses from January 2024, to give international students time to plan ahead.
