OISC rebrands as the immigration advice authority (IAA)

The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) has officially rebranded as the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) as of January 16, 2025. This change aims to enhance the regulation of immigration advice services in the UK, ensuring high-quality support for individuals seeking immigration assistance.

The IAA will focus on three key areas: regulating compliance among immigration advisers, enforcing against illegal practices, and promoting best practices within the sector. Existing OISC-registered advisers will transition to IAA regulation without disruption to their services.

For more information about the IAA and to find a registered adviser, visit their new section on the www.gov.uk website.
