We have added new guidance on the Voluntary Returns Service (VRS) to the Support for Sponsored Workers section of the SESCA website.
The VRS is a UK Home Office scheme that supports individuals who choose to return voluntarily to their country of origin. The programme provides funded travel, financial assistance and structured reintegration support to help individuals reintegrate safely and sustainably.
The scheme may be relevant where workers:

Have had leave curtailed

Are unable to secure alternative sponsorship

Are withdrawing applications or appeals

Do not have lawful status in the UK
Support available includes funded flights, assistance obtaining travel documents, and financial support of up to £3,000 (subject to eligibility), alongside reintegration assistance in 12 countries.
The webpage also outlines eligibility criteria, application routes and links to official GOV.UK resources, including awareness materials available in multiple languages.
Providers are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the scheme to ensure accurate and responsible signposting where appropriate.
