East Sussex Partners in Care, formerly known as the RCA, is thrilled to announce the launch of its first ever Annual Care Awards & Dinner. Set for Thursday, November 14th 2024, this celebration will take place at the prestigious East Sussex National Golf and Spa Centre near Uckfield.
For over three decades, East Sussex Partners in Care has represented care homeowners, providers, managers, and, more recently, a broader range of social care providers. We are committed to highlighting the crucial issues our members face and collaborating with the health and care system to support the people and families our members serve daily.
The Awards and Dinner is dedicated to celebrating the extraordinary efforts of our social care workforce.
Helping celebrate on the night will be Sally Gunnell OBE, World, Olympic, European and Commonwealth Gold medallist, Master of Ceremonies Joe Fisher and a number of distinguished guests from the care sector.
Sally said, “…I am very excited to be supporting this event and I can’t wait to hear about all the fantastic work our care sector provides as well as meeting the finalists on the night!”

Mike Derrick, Chair of East Sussex Partners in Care, expressed his excitement about hosting the first-ever Care Awards. He extended his gratitude to Sally for her wonderful support, and to all potential sponsors whose contributions are invaluable. “Together, we can make a significant impact on the social care sector, which is so overdue and deserved,” Mike remarked.
The awards night will feature twelve categories, including Apprentice of the Year, Social Care Nurse of the Year, and Outstanding Contribution to Social Care. Nominations will open in July, giving everyone plenty of time to consider nominations for the exceptional individuals in our services.
